Ergo Advocate™ was developed by Gene Kay and a team of ergonomics, e-learning and web design experts with Fortune 500 experience. Ergo Advocate™ is a product of this team's collective wisdom, combined with Gene's 20 years of health and safety experience in corporate, clinical, industrial, and government work.
The Ergo Advocate™ concept began nearly 10 years ago when Gene was hired as an Ergonomist at American Express. Gene and his colleagues moved ergonomics information on-line to reach their goal of meeting ergonomics compliance requirements and serving nearly 70,000 employees in over 1500 locations around the world. Gene went on to become the American Express Global Ergonomics Manager and continued the growth and development of their on-line ergonomics tools. These online tools won international health and safety awards for program excellence.
In 2001 Gene became a teacher and public speaker on developing web-based Health & Safety programs. He has presented professional- development workshops showing attendees how to develop their own on-line programming. He has spoken about computerized and web-based safety & ergonomics at several national and international conferences.
Like many of our clients, Ergo Advocate™ is geographically distributed across many regions. We are based in Minneapolis Minnesota USA and draw on resources and expertise from Australia, the United Kingdom, India, and across the US.
